Overview Sev1Tech is seeking a Database Administrators (DBAs) SME to support the US Space Force, Space Operations Command (SpOC), Space Delta 8. Space Delta 8 is the SATCOM war‑fighting lead for the US Space Force and leads the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Wideband Global SATCOM System (WGS) with points of presence located at multiple sites CONUS and OCONUS, providing the day‑to‑day operational support needed to manage DoD’s satellite communications capabilities.
Verifying the contents of the databases are consistent among the different systems
Providing the expert knowledge required to ensure database integrity and database replications
Act as the main lead in troubleshooting problems and inconsistencies causing system errors
Responsibilities
US Active Top Secret or TS/SCI level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)
Bachelor's degree
Minimum 15 years experience with Database Administration
Knowledge of table's links and key associations for the various systems and their database requirements
Provide 24/7/365 immediate, on‑call support for WSOMS sites (minimum of five (5) personnel)
