We are seeking a reliable and skilled
Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will install, service, and troubleshoot low-voltage systems across residential and commercial sites. The ideal candidate shall be detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working both independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities
Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber, coax, etc.) Familiarity with networking basics (VLAN, IP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, access points). Install and service security systems, CCTV, access control, audio/video, and other low- voltage components Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and job documentation Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow company safety standards Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members Complete daily paperwork, documentation, and service report. Qualifications
1+ years of low-voltage or related field experience (preferred but not required for entry- level) Working knowledge of low-voltage systems, cabling, and tools Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawl spaces, heights, etc.) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA 10/30, or manufacturer-specific training a plus but not required.
