R0014121**Job Description****Data Center Network Modeling Technician IV****The Opportunity**: Launch Your Career in Global Data InfrastructureWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Modeling Technician to join our team. This role is your entry point into understanding the physical architecture of a global fiber network. You won't just be entering data; you'll be trained to build and maintain the digital twin of our mission-critical data centers and core network points.We are looking for candidates with foundational knowledge, an appetite for complex problem-solving, and a commitment to high-quality work. If you are eager to learn from expert engineers and want your work to have a tangible impact on global connectivity, this is the role for you.**Core Responsibilities**Digital Modeling: Learn to document, edit, and manage all Inside Plant (ISP) fiber assets within our data centers and Points-of-Presence (POPs). This includes recording fiber connectivity, cable routes, and physical layer specifications.Data Integrity & Translation: Be trained to review engineering diagrams, design schematics, and vendor As-Built documentation. You will learn to translate this physical information into accurate digital records using specialized software (e.g., OSPi, Netcracker, ArcGIS).Modeling Support: Assist senior specialists in ensuring the accuracy and logical structure of the data center model, performing detailed data checks, and helping resolve discrepancies between the physical infrastructure and its digital representation.Documentation & Process: Work with the team to digitize, record, and verify all passive and active network elements, ensuring all changes (Moves, Adds, Changes) are properly logged and memorialized in the system.Cross-Functional Teamwork: Provide support by running basic network data reports, assisting with capacity checks, and facilitating communication between the engineering, installation, and field survey teams.Visualization Tools: Utilize software such as AutoCad, Google Earth/Maps to visualize, plan, and communicate network paths and layouts.**Qualifications:**This role is structured for growth and development. We value aptitude and enthusiasm as much as direct experience.Required Foundational Knowledge & SkillsTelecommunications Interest: Foundational knowledge or proven interest in telecommunications construction techniques, networking principles, or fiber optic technology.Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to be highly organized and meticulous when working with data or complex documentation.Computer Literacy: Proficiency with Google suite (especially Sheets) and a strong ability to learn new, complex software platforms quickly.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to clearly document technical information for various audiences.Documentation Mindset: An understanding of the importance of creating and maintaining clear process documentation and technical guides.**Desirable Experience**Any exposure to specialized fiber network management software (e.g., OSPi, Netcracker, ArcGIS, SmallWorld).Familiarity with interpreting technical schematics or blueprints.Basic knowledge of data center infrastructure, racks, panels, or cabling standards.**Location:**Remote first - Applicant must be a commutable distance to Denver, CO**Salary Range**$85,120.00 - $134,400.00 USD (Salary)* *Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.** *Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position.
