Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Full Time, Revenue Integrity Coordinator in Nashville, TN.
The Revenue Integrity & Charge Capture Manager is responsible for overseeing the hospital charge master (CDM) and ensuring accurate, compliant charge capture across all clinical departments. This role plays a critical part in improving healthcare revenue cycle performance, optimizing reimbursement, reducing denials, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has strong experience in medical coding, documentation improvement, payer rules, and revenue integrity operations.
As a Revenue Integrity Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Manage and maintain the charge master (CDM) to ensure accurate, compliant charge capture and reimbursement.
Provide guidance and training on ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, documentation, medical necessity, and payer requirements.
Review and analyze clinical denials, RAC audits, and DRG validations; implement denial-prevention strategies.
Conduct audits to ensure coding accuracy, CMS/OIG compliance, and revenue integrity.
Collaborate with physicians, HIM, Revenue Cycle, Compliance, and clinical departments to resolve coding and documentation issues.
Monitor regulatory and payer updates impacting billing and communicate changes to stakeholders.
Lead charge capture workflow improvements and support new service line implementations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experiencein healthcare revenue cycle, reimbursement methodologies, managed care, and government billing regulations.
Extensive experience in charge master (CDM) maintenance and charge capture processes.
Payer contract audit experience preferred.
Education & Certification:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or business-related field
Required Certification: CIC (Certified Inpatient Coder)
Preferred Certifications: CRCR, CPMA, or other revenue cycle/coding credentials
