Job Description
Pay Range:
$55hr - $60hr
Requirement / Must Have
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
Strong hands‑on experience as a Scrum Master in Agile development environments.
Excellent knowledge of Scrum principles, practices, and artifacts.
Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
Experience
10–15 years of experience in an Agile development environment.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
Experience working closely with Product Owners and development teams.
Experience supporting Agile transformation and maturity initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage project scope, timelines, and sprint commitments.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile and Scrum practices.
Foster effective collaboration and communication within and across teams.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders and communications.
Partner with Product Owners to manage product backlogs and new requests.
Identify, remove, and elevate impediments impacting team progress.
Resolve conflicts and promote a collaborative, high‑performing team environment.
Ensure sprint deliverables meet quality standards and definition of done.
Guide teams toward higher Scrum and Agile maturity.
Track and report on team performance metrics, progress, and deliverables.
Promote continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Should Have
Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks beyond Scrum.
Experience driving Agile adoption across multiple teams.
Exposure to Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD practices.
Skills
Scrum framework and Agile methodologies.
Servant leadership and team facilitation.
Backlog refinement and user story management.
Conflict resolution and problem‑solving.
Jira, Confluence, and Agile project management tools.
Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
Qualification and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Master’s degree preferred.
Advanced Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or PMI‑ACP preferred.
