Your primary focus is to guide performance, collaboration, and execution while working constructively within the team and with members of the organization.

What you’ll Do:

Support multiple software development teams maintaining Kestra’s Advisor Platform, following Scrum and Kanban frameworks.

Use Agile ceremonies that produce the benefits intended by the Agile framework, including planning of releases, removing impediments, providing guidance, and supporting Agile teams to deliver high‑quality products using inspect‑and‑adapt cycles.

Accelerate the learning and growth of one or more distributed Agile teams in developing a lean‑Agile mindset, improving practices, and guiding them to more predictable delivery of high‑quality products.

Oversee the use of an accurate, complete, readable, single source for artifacts and workflow information that we need for planning, observing/monitoring work in progress, and measuring the inspect‑and‑adapt cycle at the scrum team level.

Deep understanding of the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) with a strong focus on metrics, dashboards and reporting.

Hands‑on experience working with Agile methodologies on large‑scale, technically complex projects with distributed teams spanning multiple time zones.

Significant experience with Agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures.

Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle.

Must guide decisions and be able to deal with projects and deadlines.

Manage full alignment across dependent teams within a release train; manage risks and dependencies such that all parties are aligned with delivery strategy and sequence.

Help with dependency management and cross‑team coordination, with distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Facilitate continuous improvement and the development of a learning culture within teams.

Conduct all Scrum‑related activities, including sprint planning, daily scrum meetings, sprint retrospectives, using online collaboration tools.

Facilitate ceremonies, collaboration, communication, and conflict management.

Mentor Product Owners and Scrum team members in Agile practices and continuous improvement.

Foster team responsibility, self‑accountability, and transparency.

Use metrics to identify trends and lead process improvements for underperforming teams.

Promote transparency through healthy communications and data integrity while adhering to Agile standards.

What You Bring:

Must have 5+ years of Scrum Master experience.

Must have 3+ years of experience working with distributed teams spanning multiple time zones, with a proven track record of success working with these team models.

10+ years of overall technology experience.

Experience working in the financial industry and awareness of basic financial concepts.

Prior programming experience is a huge plus.

Experience taking business requirements and writing technical requirements using BDD.

Scrum and Kanban experience, working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Internal Application Policy: Internal applicants must be in good standing and have a minimum of 1 year of service with Kestra. Internal applicants must also have a minimum of 1 year of service in current role unless approved by EVP.
