Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Storage Engineer, supporting TOS II, at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. As an Infrastructure Storage Engineer, you will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for design, support and maintenance of Data Storage Systems and Peripherals for the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. Job Summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is the team selected by the U.S. Air Force to conduct Test and Operations Sustainment at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee. AEDC operates more than 55 aerodynamic and propulsion wind tunnels, rocket and turbine engine test cells, space environmental chambers, arc heaters, ballistic ranges and other specialized units located in six states. AEDC is one of the three installations part of the Air Force Test Center (AFTC), part of the Air Force Materiel Command organization, serving a national resource. AEDC's mission is to conduct developmental tests and evaluations for the Nation through modeling, simulation, and ground and flight tests. Execution of the mission requires a large team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals to effectively accomplish the objectives of our test customers. The selected candidate for this requisition may be required to occasionally (e.g., application upgrades) work outside normal business hours. Job Duties

Design, implement, and manage storage solutions including NetApp, SpectraLogic, Versity ScoutAM, VMware, RedHat OpenShift, HPE DMF, and related technologies. Configure and maintain SAN infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Manage and maintain LTO tape libraries for deep storage, data backup and archival purposes. Analyze, deploy and maintain requirements driven storage solutions, involving Block, File, Object and Linear Tape IO. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve storage-related issues promptly and efficiently to maintain high availability and integrity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of storage solutions with other IT infrastructure components. Administer Red Hat Linux servers and OpenShift environments to support the stability and security of our storage systems. Maintain detailed documentation for storage configurations, processes, and procedures. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies and advise leadership of available options when evolution and refresh is necessary. Work with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure compliance with information assurance regulations and best practices. Ensure Cybersecurity requirements are consistently documented, maintained, evaluated and compliant for Air Force IT system networks including components of systems. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and a minimum of 5 years of progressively relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network. Current U.S. Citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications

Active DoD security clearance. CompTIA Security+ Certification. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, RedHat Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified Solutions Engineer). Experience with Hierarchical Storage Management solutions such as HPE Data Management Framework (DMF) and/or Versity ScoutAM. Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ansible). Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Practical cybersecurity experience to assess and harden software and systems for acceptance onto DoD networks. Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members. What We Offer
