Akkodis is seeking an AI - UX engineer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. Candidate must have strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and designing scalable, accessible UX systems for AI-driven workflows.
Rate Range:
$53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
AI - UX engineer job responsibilities include:
Design and develop high-performance, responsive front-end interfaces and dashboards for Generative AI platforms using React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Implement MCP-integrated UIs that enable secure, context-aware interactions with enterprise data sources, internal APIs, and external tools.
Architect multi-agent orchestration UX—build intuitive controls (e.g., autonomy sliders, grounding checks, memory management) to provide transparency and user governance over agent workflows.
Lead enterprise UX accessibility, establishing scalable design systems that meet WCAG 2.1 standards and uphold high-fidelity visual design.
Run full-cycle validation—plan and execute usability/AB tests, instrument telemetry, and define product KPIs to drive iterative UX and model refinement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Product Managers to translate ambiguous business problems into production-ready AI‑UX solutions; support CI/CD and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in UX engineering with strong exposure to AI-driven platforms.
Proficiency in front-end development using React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js, with experience in building scalable, accessible design systems.
Hands‑on experience with AI/Agentic architectures, MCP integration, and multi-agent orchestration workflows.

Pay Details:
$53.00 to $56.00 per hour
