This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of the modality they are currently cross‑training. The technologist performs all procedures on patients ranging from newborn to late adulthood independently, prioritizing and promoting quality patient care to support the mission, vision, and values of St. David’s Healthcare. They maintain facility technical and documentation standards consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards, and reflect concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees. Education

Associate Degree Graduate of AMA‑approved school of radiologic technology Experience

Two years of previous diagnostic experience in an acute care facility desirable. Licenses and Certificates

Registered technologist with current certification by ARRT® and CE compliance. ARRT (VI), (CV), or (MRI) certification within one (1) year of cross‑training start date. Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist with the Texas Medical Board (TMB) ARRT with MRI must obtained within 1 year or employment start date ARRT (CT) certification within 6 months of cross‑training start date Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
