Role Description: QA Automation Lead
QA Automation Lead designs automated tests to validate the functionality of web and mobile applications. The role includes testing application functionality end-to-end, automating regression test suites, and reporting results.
Role and Responsibilities
Expertise in creating automation test scripts using Selenium with Java, TestNG framework, and Page Object Model design pattern.
Planning, constructing, and executing test scripts.
Proficient in working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
Test script development, maintenance, and execution; experience with Azure/TFS integration is a plus.
Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
Maintain automation testing framework.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to achieve shift‑left testing.
Prioritize and handle changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Build test plans, test suites, and manual or automated test cases for assigned changes.
Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients as required.
Required Skills
OOPs programming concepts and experience in Java.
Selenium, Java, TestNG framework using POM.
Manual testing.
SpecFlow.
SQL.
Automation testing.
Good communication skills.
Nice-to-have Skills
API testing.
Exposure to mobile app testing.
Qualifications
10+ years of work experience in systems or application development.
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university; Computer Science background preferred.
