To coach and otherwise guide a team of employees to achieve optimum levels of productivity, quality and safety while meeting operational deadlines and budgets. This typically includes recruiting and hiring qualified employees and ensuring that they receive all necessary training and education. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for maintaining a high performance work environment through appropriate goal setting, operating principles, communication, and fair treatment of all employees. As necessary, the supervisor must take action to correct poor performance and poor behavior that puts the employee or team at risk or impacts the team's ability to achieve its objectives.

Join thyssenkrupp Materials NA as a Warehouse Supervisor and lead a dynamic team in a fast‑paced environment. This role is hands‑on, working directly on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery. We value safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Location: Rochester, NY (Onsite Only). Shift: Day Shift. Salary: $68,000–$73,000 base + Monthly Gainshare Incentive. Relocation: Not Available. ITAR Compliance: U.S. persons only (citizen, permanent resident, or protected status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b).

Key Accountabilities

Meet production and distribution objectives within budget and deadlines.

Teach, coach, and demonstrate work activities for team members.

Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary processes.

Coordinate, assign, and review work priorities.

Ensure team members receive training on safety, equipment use, and company policies.

Maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Complete and submit accident/incident reports within 24 hours.

Monitor working conditions and take corrective action as needed.

Apply problem-solving techniques (8D, 5 Why, Kaizen).

Perform administrative duties and maintain accurate records.

Other duties as assigned by Operations or Plant Manager.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Warehouse experience (forklift, packing, measuring).

Safety mindset.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor's degree.

2-3 years supervisory experience.

SAP experience (minimum 3 years; 4-5 years preferred).

Knowledge of metals, ISO standards, lean practices.

First Aid/CPR training.

Additional Information

Onsite only - no remote or hybrid options.

Job Compensation 68,000 – 73,000 + monthly gainshare
