Job Description Under the guidance of the department supervisor, you collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, and Customer Care to deliver superior service. You process orders, provide status updates, manage customer accounts, and support day‑to‑day operations for assigned accounts.

Essential Functions

Manage order intake from receipt to invoicing via web, email, EDI, or fax.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries, pricing requests, and invoicing needs.

Monitor service levels, identify process improvements, and exceed expectations.

Initiate returns, authorizations, and deductions, resolving issues efficiently.

Build strong customer partnerships and execute multiple product lines.

Lead projects, mentor new team members, and perform special assignments.

Maintain robust reporting on pricing, inventory, shipping, and invoicing.

Collaborate with transportation, supply chain, and plant ops to meet service levels.

Utilize customer–based software and online portals proficiently.

Education / Skills / Experience

2‑3 years customer‑care or related experience.

College degree preferred; Six Sigma certification a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Proven ability to implement process improvements.

Strong analytical, team building, and high‑level communication skills.

Professional under stress and independent decision‑making.

Work Conditions Work from home with high‑speed internet and cell phone service. Maintain an appropriate area within the employee’s home for work purposes. Regular connectivity via phone, email, and instant messaging during approved work hours is required.
