This strategic leadership position is responsible for sourcing and managing procurement activities that ensure the timely acquisition of technical equipment, spare parts, consumables, and services. Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with operational and financial goals.
Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts for maritime equipment, technical spares, and related services.
Collaborate closely with technical, marine, and operations teams to forecast material and service needs.
Monitor supplier performance, manage costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Ensure compliance with international trade laws, import/export regulations, and internal procurement policies.
Maintain accurate procurement records, KPIs, and lead initiatives for cost savings.
Support vessel mobilizations, maintenance activities, and drydock operations as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably within maritime, transportation, logistics, or industrial sectors.
Proven contract negotiation and vendor management skills.
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement platforms.
