ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Initiate, plan, execute, control and close assigned projects

Conduct meetings and group decision-making processes

Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project team

Keep senior management and others informed about project status and issues

Create program presentations & briefings

Develop and maintain project governing documents:

Cost

Schedule

Create and maintain integrated project schedules including coordination of resources

Maintain oversight of assigned projects to ensure they remain within scope, schedule and budget parameters

Track and report cost and schedule performance

Interface with internal departments, ensuring necessary procurement and fabrication of parts, materials and services for the specific projects

Perform other related duties as required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities, however, it requires training and assistance of other employees.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Basic:

BA/BS in business or STEM field and 10 years of related experience

5+ years of project/program management experience

Preferred:

Degree in an Engineering or Business with an Aeronautical/Aerospace discipline

Project/program management certification from PMI or similar

General knowledge and skills associated with cross‑functional coordination in areas of design engineering, methodization, manufacturing planning, production control, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, aircraft fabrication and assembly and quality management, testing and certification functions.

Requires comprehensive knowledge of Windows based computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

LANGUAGE SKILLS The employee must possess the ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.

Travel and overtime is required when necessary.
