Job Title: Powder Coater - 2nd Shift

Primary Activities/Duties
Prepare metal parts for powder coating by cleaning, masking, and hanging them on racks.
Operate powder coating equipment to apply paint according to specifications.
Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and consistency.
Maintain proper documentation of production and quality checks.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of painting equipment and spray booths.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Assist with loading/unloading parts from the curing oven.
Support department housekeeping and 6‑S initiatives.
Participate in cross‑training and internal audits as needed.
Knowledge & Experience
HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Prior experience in industrial painting or powder coating preferred.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety guidelines.
Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to lift and move parts and equipment as required.
Safety Requirements
Wear safety‑toed footwear.
Safety glasses with side shields.
Hearing protection.
Other PPE where required.
Work Environment
Warehouse and manufacturing areas with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, dust, and noise.
