Responsibilities
Drive vehicle from community to social and other destinations according to assigned schedule
Practice safe driving techniques, adhere to posted speed limits, and follow state guidelines for motor vehicle operation at all times
Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize them during trip
Document all damages to company vehicles, including accidents, dents, natural wear and tear, etc.
Clean interior and exterior of vehicle after each outing and ensure adequate fuel levels
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Must be 21 years or older
Valid driver's license with clean record that meets company insurance standards
Commercial driver's license (CDL) designation may be required if driving vehicles with a capacity of more than 15 passengers
Working knowledge of all motor vehicle safety precautions and compliance with safety measures
CPR/First Aid certification
