Step into a role where your regulatory expertise directly supports innovation in flavors, colors, and food and beverage solutions. As a Regulatory Specialist at Döhler, you’ll oversee raw material compliance, create key documentation, and collaborate with teams worldwide to ensure our products meet industry, customer, and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role working from our Chicago, IL office.

Your Responsibilities

Review raw material documentation to ensure full compliance with Döhler policies and regulatory standards.

Maintain and manage raw material data within SAP and other relevant systems.

Develop and update raw material specifications in partnership with cross‑functional teams.

Support customer compliance and third‑party business portals as required.

Prepare regulatory documentation and submissions for customer requests independently and accurately.

Evaluate product formulas to ensure alignment with government, industry, customer, and company regulatory requirements, recommending changes when needed.

Assess the impact of formulation or raw material changes on existing regulatory documentation.

Create ingredient statements, allergen declarations, nutritional information, and complete customer questionnaires and related documentation.

Partner with customers, flavorists, product developers, sales teams, and production to address regulatory questions and ensure seamless compliance throughout the development process.

Your Profile

Bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field (preferred) and 1–2 years of hands‑on regulatory compliance experience, or an associate degree with 5+ years of regulatory experience in food, beverage, flavors, or ingredient industries.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with systems such as SAP, ESHA Genesis, and customer compliance portals.

Experience managing raw material portfolios or similar data‑driven responsibilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environment with strong communication and organizational skills.

Travel requirements are less than 5%.
