A Data Coordinator I position is available within the Multiple Myeloma research team at Tisch Cancer Institute. The Coordinator reviews, extracts, cleans and audits data from various source documents so that accurate data can be shared and used by all database users.
Responsibilities
Collect and record study data from source documents into case report systems with accurate database input.
Maintain source documents and subject files per hospital procedures.
Review and audit database records regularly to ensure data accuracy.
Make corrections and additions to database records as required.
Ensure accurate and complete subject data compilation through chart reviews.
Assist with recording and logging safety reports for weekly reviews.
Update and resolve database queries or issues promptly.
Perform activities in accordance with established policies and procedures related to clinical research study protocols.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
No experience required; one year of database application management experience preferred.
Oncology knowledge desirable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and schedules.
