What You’ll Do

Maintain clinic buildings in a safe and clean environment, putting patient needs first.

Conduct routine inspections of building premises and all equipment.

Perform preventative maintenance including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, flooring repairs, filter changes, lighting replacement, janitorial duties, and other assigned tasks.

Handle basic building repairs and maintenance with appropriate hand tools, machinery, and computer equipment.

Maintain and record daily work orders using the company electronic system, prioritizing tasks based on urgency.

Oversee contractors and bid process for outsourced repairs following company purchasing policies and approved vendors.

Manage small moves and office restacks, from pre-planning to final cleanup and follow-up.

Monitor and update annual spend tracking tools to maintain budget accuracy.

Pick up and deliver items using personal or company vehicles, with mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use.

Other duties as required.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid driver’s license in good standing.

Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in maintenance service field or related certifications/technical college trade.

Understanding of building construction and mechanical, plumbing, and electrical system operations.

Skilled in the use of hand and power tools following OSHA guidelines.

Ability to disassemble machinery or equipment and replace defective parts.

Ability to source repair manuals or parts catalogs when necessary.

Additional Requirements

Must have a current and valid California driver’s license and provide proof of personal auto insurance.

Clinic hours: Monday‑Friday 8 a.m.‑8 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.‑7 p.m.; later shifts may be assigned as needed.

Must provide proof of required immunizations (Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella & Tetanus), tuberculosis clearance, and COVID‑19 vaccination status before start (subject to background check and drug screen).

Physical Requirements and Work Environment The work environment includes indoor and outdoor settings at corporate office and healthcare facilities. The job requires staying in a stationary position, hand handling, lifting, reaching, and moving up to 70 pounds. The employee must move, position, or remove up to 70 pounds, use ladders and stairs, and practice OSHA approved workplace guidelines. Vision, hearing, and speech are required. Noise level is usually quiet to moderately loud. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

Compensation $22.00 – $28.60 an hour, depending on experience.
