Pay:
$16.30 (Pay based on experience, certifications, and driving record. Most new hires start in the lower‑to‑middle range.)
Make Every Mile Matter Join our PACE (Program of All‑Inclusive Care for the Elderly) team and help older adults get where they need to go safely, comfortably, and with dignity. As a Transportation Specialist III, you’ll be more than a driver—you’ll be a lifeline for our participants, ensuring they arrive at appointments, our Day Center, and home with care and compassion.
What You’ll Do
Safely operate buses and other vehicles to transport participants between homes, medical facilities, and the Day Center.
Assist with gurney, wheelchair, and ambulatory transfers, including lifting and supporting participants and their medical equipment.
Support participants in and out of residences and care settings.
Observe and report changes in participants’ health or behavior.
Keep vehicles clean, perform pre/post‑trip inspections, and follow all DOT requirements.
Assist with light Day Center duties, including meals, supplies, and maintaining a safe environment.
Participate in the on‑call rotation for transportation needs.
