Transcript Evaluator (Part-time) – Staff Pool
Inside Higher Ed is hiring a part-time Transcript Evaluator to support student records operations at Houston Community College (HCC).
Responsibilities
Review and evaluate student transcripts and transfer credit requests.
Prepare accurate audit reports and maintain data integrity.
Interpret and apply institutional policies, procedures, and transfer regulations.
Communicate findings and recommendations to students and faculty.
Collaborate with Student Administration software administrators and audit teams.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in a related field.
Three (3) or more years of work experience, preferably in higher education.
One (1) year experience in student records or transfer credit preferred.
Experience with Student Administration software.
Experience in auditing data and preparing reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of work‑related information and materials.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
