Job Description Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce and the community in the heart of the nation’s capital. As the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, the Reagan Building is the official World Trade Center Washington, DC, featuring a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming.
Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking an
Overnight Parking Cashier
to join our Parking team. This position reports to our Facility Parking Manager. The cashier handles all customer transactions to process tickets and collect money by cash, credit card, or other authorized forms of payment.
Essential Functions
Revenue Control. Perform all cashier functions. Collect monetary payments from paying customers.
Prepare daily reports and log sheets. Have a thorough knowledge of parking rate structure to include daily, monthly, coupons, and validation programs.
Assisting Patrons. Courteously assist patrons by answering questions, solving routine problems, and directing patrons to manager or supervisors to resolve more complex problems.
Knowledge of Garage. Have a thorough and complete knowledge of all areas of the garage, surrounding streets and landmarks in the area of the garage, and all major roads in and out of the city.
Reporting. Report any known accidents observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazard or any unusual occurrence or matter to the garage manager/supervisor immediately. Required to complete an overnight vehicle inventory log.
Traffic Control. Assist with traffic control near cashier booths and help with changing lane signs and moving cones.
Cleaning. Keep assigned areas swept and clean of trash.
Job Requirements
Must have excellent math and basic computer skills.
Familiar with McGann Parking software helpful.
Previous customer service and cashier experience.
Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
