Join our team as a Production Trainer at Kirby Risk. We are looking for dedicated trainers to lead on‑job training and support the development of new and existing employees.
Responsibilities
Conduct on‑job training for new hires, cross‑training, and continuous learning for existing employees
Update and maintain training materials, manuals, and job aids
Evaluate employee training performance and provide feedback to supervisors
Maintain accurate training records and track employee training status
Communicate training needs with production managers and quality
Participate in the onboarding of agency associates, new hire orientation, and plant training sessions
Provide hands‑on demonstrations, education, and performance feedback for production processes
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED and 2+ years experience in a manufacturing/production environment
Ability to accurately measure, use tools, interpret visual aids, discern color and perform simple shop math
Ability to detect and correct quality problems
Fulfills obligations while demonstrating dependability, reliability, and responsiveness
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite to allow for continual updating of training materials
What to Expect
Onsite, indoors, in a controlled temperature environment, with a variation of noise levels
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to varied work environments
Travel occasionally for training or customer visits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift
