Responsibilities Reporting to the Plant Superintendent, the General Operations Supervisor is responsible for the production and safe work practices of an assigned area of a sawmill or plywood plant. The primary function is to provide leadership, general supervision and direction to shift supervisors and hourly production employees.

Qualifications

4‑year college degree in a related field is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years supervisory/management experience in the manufacturing industry.

Analytical and problem‑solving skills with a good working knowledge of computers.

Ability to generate and understand production models.

Effective communication skills.

Salary will be dependent on experience.
