Job Summary Join HII as a General Foreman supervising semi‑skilled and skilled trades personnel across shifts. Bring experience in production supervision and manage quality, quantity, and budget performance.
Responsibilities
Supervises, assigns, coordinates, and evaluates trades personnel based on skill, experience, and job knowledge.
Trains employees to improve quality and quantity of work performed.
Recommends training to enhance skill and productivity; assists in development of training procedures.
Breaks broad strategies into practical action plans and ensures employees are trained to perform these plans.
Ensures compliance with all technical aspects of the job, including adherence to drawings and procedures.
Performs manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations with significant financial impact.
Monitors job and budget performance for all shifts.
Requirements
BS/Apprentice + 4 years production supervisor experience OR Non‑BS/Non‑Apprentice with 6 years combined production supervisory experience and/or CS experience.
US citizenship required.
Clearance not required to start.
Full‑time, 1st shift.
Travel required 10–25% of the time; no relocation assistance.
