Developing and implementing LTC pharmacy service models for independent community pharmacies Serving as a subject matter expert on LTC operations, regulations, and reimbursement Providing hands‑on consultation and technical support for pharmacies entering or expanding in the LTC space (including compliance, billing, workflow, and packaging) Identifying and evaluating partnership opportunities with assisted living facilities, group homes, and other care settings Designing and leading education, training, and tools for pharmacy owners and teams Monitoring industry trends, legislative changes, and payer developments impacting long‑term care Collaborating with internal partners including business development, clinical, and compliance teams Representing the organization at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings What You Bring
Required Qualifications
PharmD or equivalent pharmacy degree 5+ years of direct long‑term care pharmacy experience Deep knowledge of LTC regulations, documentation, and packaging systems Strong understanding of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and third‑party billing in LTC settings Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills Strong project management and organizational ability Comfortable working independently with the ability to travel 20–30% Prior experience working with or within independent pharmacies is strongly preferred Preferred (but Not Required)
Experience with clinical program development or pharmacy consulting Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and LTC automation solutions Experience with value‑based care, payer contracting, or advocacy initiatives Background in multi‑dose or unit‑dose packaging and EHR/LTC pharmacy systems Experience supporting medication management programs for chronic conditions (diabetes, CHF, COPD, etc.) What We Offer
