Program Therapist - Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PROGRAM THERAPIST – INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM (IOP).

$2,000 Sign‑On Bonus .

Hours:

8‑hour shifts Monday – Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm.

Your Work Matters The IOP Program Therapist performs social services functions to assist patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access therapeutic treatment skills to achieve optimal emotional health. Responsibilities include basic consultation, teaching, specialized clinical social work services for patients and families, crisis intervention, short‑term and long‑term family therapy, and referrals as needed. The role also involves working with the adolescent population to address their developmental and mental health needs and assisting as needed in intensive outpatient and inpatient departments.

Develop and facilitate age‑appropriate groups, including therapeutic, educational, and support groups.

Conduct comprehensive assessments of adolescent patients’ psychosocial, emotional, and behavioral functioning.

Utilize evidence‑based interventions, including crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy.

Establish rapport and communicate effectively with adolescent patients, respecting developmental stage and behavioral norms.

Set clear behavioral limits and non‑judgmental boundaries tailored to adolescents.

Coordinate with community agencies and schools for referrals and support.

Provide education and therapeutic activities to enhance coping skills, emotional regulation, and social functioning.

Apply age‑specific safety protocols, including restraint and seclusion procedures.

Participate in interdisciplinary team efforts to develop and revise individualized care plans.

Maintain professional development in adolescent care through ongoing training and supervision.

Your Experience Matters

Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related mental health field (preferred).

Experience: Minimum of two years in a psychiatric health care facility with direct work with adolescents, including family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.

Licensure: Illinois State license in social work or a related clinical mental health field.

Additional: Flexibility for overtime and variable hours.

Compensation This is a full‑time role. Expected compensation is $60,000–$66,000 salary with a $2,000 sign‑on bonus. We consider experience and skill level when making offers.
