Job Description The Execution Planning Coordinator will work alongside the designated Execution Planning Manager and support the creation of an execution plan during the proposal period (prior to award). After award, the coordinator supports enhancement of the plan and alignment with the project schedule throughout the life cycle. The role utilizes Zachry’s Project Execution Planning Process (ZPEPP®) to facilitate project planning and execution, including the AWP process. The position may evolve to an elevated field role such as Superintendent or Workface Planner.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with proposed Project & Corporate Leadership during the proposal period to support the development of the project execution strategy.

Support development, creation, and compilation of the different components of a project execution plan from various corporate support groups, e.g., safety and quality, as well as operational groups, e.g., engineering, procurement, and construction.

Develop a project timeline during the proposal period, which will serve as the basis for a project engineering, procurement, construction, and start‑up (EPCS) schedule. Assist with implementing the AWP Process for creating the Work Breakdown Structure.

Organize and present the proposal execution plan to the project team prior to proposal submission.

Monitor and support the development of project constructability/best‑practice strategies through lessons learned from site audits and workshops.

Qualifications (Preferred)

High School Diploma.

Construction Management or Engineering Degrees.

Over 5 years of experience.

Current or former Zachry employee.

Physical Demands Employee will communicate in person, via telephone, email, video chat and software systems. Position is based from an on‑site office on construction sites and industrial facilities requiring mobility (ground and height) and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs/muffs, masks/respirators, safety vests, gloves and work boots.

Work Environment Employee will work in multiple environments including an office, warehouse, and in a trailer or building on construction sites. On construction sites noise levels will be moderate to high. Job sites will contain light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling and talking, bells, whistles, and alarms.
