Transportation Engineer 4/Digital Project Delivery %26 Modeling Staff Specialist

What you will be doing:
Acts as staff specialist covering all phases of a project’s design and digital delivery production workflow
Develops strategies & leads the creation or modification of new systems for implementation of innovative digital project delivery strategies and solutions.
Leads &/or supports the development of in-house model-based deliverables &/or traditional plans for various construction projects
Provides digital Delivery/CADD/BIM support
Serves as contact for resolving complex BIM/Digital Delivery & modeling issues
Assists engineering offices in evaluating new design policies.
Conduct quality assurance reviews and sign engineering documents as a registered professional engineer.

Licensed as registered professional engineer by Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors;12 mos. exp. as Transportation Engineer 3, 85643; if assigned to operate a state vehicle to travel to & inspect projectsites, must possess valid driver’s license.
-Or licensed as registered professional engineer by Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors; 2 yrs. exp. as group or project leader or supervisor providing work direction & training to employees engaged in engineering projects or 2 yrs. exp. in managing engineering research projects (i.e., managing research projects applies only to staff specialist positions); if assigned to operate a state vehicle to travel to & inspect project sites, must possess valid driver’s license.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated registration.
