Business Development Manager
The Business Development Managers (BDM) primary function is engaging in outside business development, which requires the BDM to spend more than half of their working time away from the office presenting ATI services. BDM will market ATI's services to the various clients to include but are not limited to Facility Managers, Risk Managers, Independent Adjusters, Insurance Carriers, Insurance Brokers and Insurance Agents.
Responsibilities
Generate approximately $2+ million annually in multiple ATI markets.
Develop, maintain, implement, and revise an individual marketing plan.
Generate at least 100 leads and projects for at least two different branches annually.
Establish regional accounts with adjusters, general adjusters, risk managers, facilities managers, property managers, end users, contractors, and/or insurance.
Handle promotion of all ATI nationwide branches.
Assist during local, regional and national marketing blitzes when called.
Support ATI in catastrophic situations when called.
Attend promotion of assigned nationally sponsored events, including trade-shows, golf tournaments, social events, luncheons, and other ATI marketing functions.
Train new accounts.
Document field work and activity through SalesForce.com.
Travel overnight at least 10% of the time.
Other assigned projects or work.
Market environmental and abatement services to NE firms.
Essential Functions
Create and update a marketing plan to include target accounts/contacts.
Identify opportunities, plan, execute and measure results, including tracking of leads.
Actively market to new potential ATI clients/relationships.
Maintain and build existing customer relationships.
Develop and manage strategies needed to address business development issues critical to penetrating new markets.
Develop new business and seek new prospects within market scope.
Manage (prospective) customer activities related to development programs and demonstrate a strong business sense.
Coordinate delivery of customer service.
Perform follow up with existing accounts and/or active production.
Sell and network at trade-show events and conferences.
Maintain a high level of customer service.
Develop marketing campaigns to generate traffic throughout the portfolio within set budgets.
Document lead generation, activity, sales tracking and analysis through CRM system.
Perform competitive market analysis.
Administer marketing program/campaign development, execution, management and analysis.
Coordinate and manage all activities related to trade-show/conference activity alignment with Director of Business Development and Regional Leadership.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
Minimum two years’ experience in marketing and sales.
Proven record of accomplishment of successful sales and business development in the service industry.
Ability to structure and negotiate strategic alliances within the region.
Execution of targeted marketing programs and market development strategies.
Salesforce or other CRM database experience desired but not necessary.
Ability to seek out and develop marketing opportunities.
Ability to develop regional commercialization strategies.
Excellent presentation skills.
Open-mindedness and creativity.
Excellent time management skills.
Must be able to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic, fast moving, deadline driven environment.
