Your Mission: To Power Our Operations Through Premier Fleet Management

What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like

Hands‑On Leadership: Act as a working manager, providing direct, hands‑on mechanical support, advanced diagnostics, and on‑the‑job training to shop personnel to solve the most complex maintenance challenges. Operational Oversight: Serve as the primary point of contact for fleet and shop operations in your assigned area, providing guidance, support, and strategic direction to Shop Managers. Strategic Collaboration: Work in tandem with General Managers and the corporate Fleet Department to implement maintenance programs, streamline processes, and ensure consistency across all locations. Efficiency and Performance: Analyze shop performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity, reduce downtime, and control costs. Safety and Compliance: Champion SRM’s commitment to safety by ensuring all shops adhere to company policies, as well as DOT and OSHA regulations. Vendor and Inventory Management: Oversee parts inventory and build strong relationships with vendors to ensure the availability of necessary equipment and services. What You Bring To The Table

Expertise as a highly skilled mechanic with advanced diagnostic and repair capabilities for heavy‑duty trucks and equipment. Proven experience in a fleet maintenance leadership role, preferably within the ready‑mix concrete, construction, or a related industry. Commitment to a "working manager" philosophy, ready to lead from the shop floor and turn a wrench when needed. Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and build strong working relationships with managers, technicians, and operational leaders. Expert knowledge of DOT regulations and a steadfast commitment to safety and compliance. Tech‑savvy with proficiency in maintenance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
