We at Main Street Auto are hiring a highly organized and customer-focused Service Advisor for our automotive service team. This role will primarily manage vehicle maintenance and repair needs while delivering a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities
Customer Interaction:
Greet customers and create a warm, friendly, professional atmosphere.
Act as the main point of contact, understanding concerns and requirements.
Listen actively, document accurately, and communicate to service technicians.
Service Coordination:
Schedule and confirm service appointments.
Gather vehicle history, symptoms, and requested services.
Advise customers on appropriate services and maintenance schedules.
Cost Estimation and Approval:
Prepare accurate detailed cost estimates.
Explain estimates to customers clearly.
Obtain customer approval for repairs with full transparency.
Repair Order Management:
Create and manage repair orders, documenting services and parts.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date service records.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion.
Customer Satisfaction:
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
Handle complaints professionally and resolve efficiently.
Strive to exceed expectations, providing personalized service.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (additional automotive education or certification is a plus).
Proven experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
Sound technical knowledge of automotive systems and repairs.
Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive software.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
