Job Summary
Plant Foreman for County Prestress and Precast at our Roberts, WI location.
The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service.
Job Duties
Manages, trains and assists in developing schedules for production team
Supervises all production activities
Ensures product quality, expectations and goals are met
Ensures preventative maintenance tasks are performed
Ensures safe work environment
Coordinates with vendors to maintain manufacturing supplies
Assists or fills in for production team as needed, tasks may be as follows:
Performs general manual labor tasks including cleaning, shoveling, loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
Other tasks as needed
Work Environment
Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards
Work in a noisy environment
Physical Requirements
Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds occasionally
Carrying/Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionally
Standing / Walking / Climbing
Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder
Experience & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
4-6 years of related experience.
Knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred.
Exercise good judgement regarding work site unloading and operation
Ability to perform well as a team
Self-motivator and must be flexible in order to accommodate needs of your team.
Safety minded when performing tasks
Ability and willingness to learn and be trained
