Position Overview Inventory Supervisor – responsible for optimizing inventory performance across our global supply chain. This role executes replenishment strategies, manages SKU transitions, and collaborates with internal and external partners to maintain a balanced network.
Location & Schedule Location: On‑site, Scranton, PA Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Afternoons
Compensation $65,000‑$75,000 plus bonus, comprehensive benefits including PTO, sick time, health, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and more.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage WMS systems to drive daily inventory control, delivering high fill rates while minimizing inventory days on hand.
Analyze root causes of inventory issues and lead cross‑functional initiatives to resolve them.
Build strong supplier relationships, addressing fill rate gaps, lead time delays, transit damages, and returns.
Create import orders aligned with containerization needs.
Run key reports: Call‑Offs, Open POs, Destruction Write‑Offs to optimize warehouse capacity.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, GMP, and IDL’s operational standards.
Provide leadership on the floor—training, coaching, and cross‑training associates.
Respond to inquiries, drive process improvements, and support continuous improvement efforts (5S, Lean).
Maintain a customer‑first approach with a tour‑ready, safe, and efficient facility.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of inventory troubleshooting and root‑cause supervisory experience in distribution, 3PL, or warehouse operations.
Reach truck driving knowledge with ability to train others.
Experience working at heights up to 35 feet with reach and stock pickers.
Proven vendor management and cross‑functional collaboration.
Clear, effective communication with internal and external teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
Experience with forecasting, SKU transitions, and replenishment.
Knowledge of order scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.
Familiarity with 5S, Lean, or other CI tools.
Strong data analysis skills.
Experience creating import orders based on container requirements.
