GENERAL PURPOSE
Perform a variety of clerical duties under general supervision in the warehouse.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Answer telephones, emails, and voicemails and act on, address, and resolve inventory issues and concerns.
Process orders from customers and prioritize, print, and issue pick orders and instructions to appropriate warehouse employees.
Track inventory and assist with distribution of assignments for orders to material handlers, warehouse operators, forklift operators, etc.
Monitor the loading of trailers according to work order specification and shipping schedule; verify orders when loaded onto trailers, add the various tickets and tags required for each order, and close out paperwork as needed.
Assist with periodic cycle counts of the inventory, expedite orders when required, and set up and add items to computer system.
Determine correct inventory levels, report stock inventory and special‑order requests, and perform general accounting for warehouse.
Perform general housekeeping duties in work area to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
May perform basic shipping activities such as preparing items or packages for shipment, creating shipment documents, and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Other duties may be assigned as required.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
0 to 1 year of administrative support, warehouse, or related experience.
Certification and/or license may be required during course of employment.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems.
Able to respond courteously and efficiently to inquiries, complaints, and requests.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Able to work with accuracy and detail oriented.
Able to follow directions and meet deadlines.
Able to perform tasks and duties without constant supervision.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
