Looking for a Client Relationship Manager/Project Manager (Electrical)
The Client Relationship Manager/PM holds responsibility for the overall relationship with identified clients and successful delivery of their projects. This role primarily manages projects independently and, when needed, leads additional Project Managers. The goal is total project success across people, product, and profit, while acquiring work through high‑quality results, industry presence, and community engagement. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the principal relationship advisor with clients for all project engagements. Work with leadership to establish long‑term strategies for client growth. Align SSR services with client needs and identify future opportunities. Build and nurture strategic business relationships essential to projects and long‑term engagements. Update leads and record business development activities in the CRM database. Assist or lead resolution of project and client relationship issues. Understand client strategic goals and ensure all projects meet those standards. Provide leadership and mentoring to Project Managers assigned to projects. Oversee the project team to achieve total project success. Ensure projects are executed according to plan and uphold high standards. Prepare proposals in coordination with marketing and technical staff. Manage all project activities: scope, fees, contracts, schedule, budgets, kick‑offs, communication, risk, QA/QC, and close‑out. Project monthly revenue expectations and work with the Operations Director on staffing plans. Collect accounts receivable in line with Program AR goals. Negotiate standard contracts and fee schedules for large, complex clients to maintain profitability. An ideal candidate will possess the following requirements
8+ years of applicable project/relationship management experience in the relevant discipline(s). Technical or bachelor’s degree in a major technical discipline, or equivalent experience. Professional Engineer licence preferred. Consistent ability to manage projects from small to large scope and complexity. Experience designing multi‑discipline projects. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Deep knowledge of all project financial activities (budgeting, projections, reporting). Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies. Knowledge of project approach and system design. Current industry trends, products, and applications to market sectors.
