$47,000.00/yr – $57,000.00/yr Position Summary

The Associate QC Sensory Analyst is an entry‑level position that requires additional training and experience. The analyst must evaluate the odor of fragrance raw materials, intermediates, and finished products versus their respective reference standards. QC decisions on quality are based on the comparisons to target samples. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A. Odor evaluates materials, intermediates, and finished products using official Symrise organoleptic methods. Manages workloads for all off‑shift QC testing. B. Communicate and interact as required with Production, Technical Perfumery, and allied department personnel in matters requiring sensory analysis support, QC troubleshooting or formula design. C. Maintain, update, and control organoleptic standards according to Quality Control SOPs. D. Maintain local harmonization of global Fragrance Materials and Specialty Sensory. Other Functions

Maintain an orderly file of analysis results, samples, and allied paperwork. Support all continuous improvement / Lean initiatives, as required. Perform any related duties as required by Manager. About You Education and Experience Requirements

Associate Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. 2+ years experience performing sensory evaluation in a fragrance Quality Control or R&D laboratory. Experience with investigations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Good organizational and communication skills are essential. Must be able to write clear, concise reports and effectively present results. Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Able to work with other QC analytical equipment. Knowledge of ISO 9001: Current requirements as applicable to the Quality Control area. Proficient skills with SAP and collateral QC computer systems preferred. Will be required to pass a sensory test. What We Offer

The expected annual salary range for this position is USD $47,000.00 – USD $57,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
