TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc., has an opening in its Wellford, SC location for a
Inventory Specialist II

JOB SUMMARY The Inventory Specialist II is responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and performing warehouse audits to ensure accurate inventory tracking. Specialist II is responsible for managing slotting, bin resolutions, and troubleshooting order issues. This role supports warehouse operations through material handling, damage processing and quality control.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter, well organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be proficient in MS Office applications. Experience with SAP WM a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies, including:
ABC Counts
Short List Counts
Assigned Counts
Pull pallets for special projects
Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations
Conduct warehouse audits in multiple areas, including:
Inbound receiving, Picking operations, E-commerce and bulk processing
Outbound shipping
Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations
Slotting:
Slotting & Un-Slotting materials
Manage slotting for new and existing materials
Manage and evaluate replenishment levels
Bin Resolution — Anderson Location
Investigate and resolve stuck or blocked bins
Support rework operations and ensure materials are properly stored
Process and monitor damaged goods
Assist with resolving stray pallets and inventory that needs to be returned to stock.
Complete quality pulls
Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations.
Bin Resolution — Wellford Location
Will require that individual wear the appropriate PPE and work in small, dark spaces and not be afraid of heights
Investigate and resolve non-moving robot’s within system
Will be certified to enter the system
Partner with maintenance team to recover robots weighing 800 lbs.
Document instances of issues with robots, racking (determining what needs to be escalated to other support resources -tech or building facilities)
Ability to access robots for system rebooting if necessary
Recovering any stray or damaged material, rebuild pallets if they bust within the automation
Perform system transactions to move inventory into the correct locations and physically remove the pallet from the automation
Clean and Replace QR Codes within the system
Print and re-apply as necessary QR Codes
Completing housekeeping duties within the ASRA (Automated Storage and Retrieval System)
Managing inventory in WMS and WCS environments
Opening tickets with vendors -> keeping up with and closing tickets
E-Commerce Hospital
Investigate and resolve return goods issues from vendors/customers
Troubleshoot order processing issues
Perform cycle counts as needed to ensure smooth inventory flow
Slot materials and high velocity items
Additional Responsibilities
Support rework operations and ensure materials are properly stored
Process and monitor damaged goods
Assist with handling stray pallets or inventory that needs to be returned to stock
Complete quality pulls
Perform all duties of Inventory Specialist I
Ability to be certified on Industrial Power Equipment (Reach Truck, Forklift, Order Picker)
Shared resource between multi-sites
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with slotting and inventory adjustments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to troubleshoot order processing issues
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
Must operate heavy machinery — certification is required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail, math, and multi-tasking skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of working on a computer and/or RF device
Extended or long periods of standing and walking
Repetitive Motion
Regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
Regularly be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., team lift over 50 lbs.
Regularly required to reach, pull, and push up to 50 lbs., team lift over 50 lbs.
Must be able to operate power equipment (reach truck, order picker, pacer/standup forklift)
Ability to work in various temperatures
