What is the opportunity?
As a Project Manager (PM) you will have the overall responsibility for successful execution of defined segments of work within the defined project, including achieving our operational goals for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of Safety, Quality, Schedule, Cost. The primary responsibilities of the Project Manager include: schedule development and maintenance, scope/change management, budget management, organizational management (establish adequate resources to perform the work) and overall coordination of work groups (construction, safety, engineering, training, procurement, tooling, contracts management, project controls and key client stakeholders).
What You’ll Do Here
Responsible for overall coordination of project work groups to ensure collective focus on execution goals, and tracking/completion of all actions and deliverables across all work groups. Specifically, the PM coordinates/ensures: Schedule is developed, maintained/updated, and regularly reviewed for accuracy Creation and implementation of Action/Recovery Plans to address any schedule performance issues Validation and monitoring of project metrics (Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule) for assigned work segments Identify and report any resource constraints impacting planned work Identify potential changes to work per the project change management procedure Collaborate with the construction team to develop and maintain a staffing plan and Manpower Loading Forecast (MFL) for the assigned scope Ensure materials and services are identified and ordered, with delivery risks addressed and action plans assigned Lead a functional team across departments as applicable (Construction, Engineering, Client Representatives, etc.) Implement the project readiness process for construction execution (e.g., Detailed Window Logic, Readiness Check Sheet, Status Reporting) Attend or arrange representation for project planning meetings and customer reporting Coordinate prerequisite and execution task readiness in line with client and station reporting requirements Ensure outage readiness milestones are achieved Schedule and coordinate Readiness meetings Prepare and status readiness check sheets based on work window schedules Capture, assign and prioritize open items related to start readiness and closeout Provide status and progress reports to customer, project team, and management as needed Adhere to all policies, standards and procedures including Safety, Quality, Code of Conduct, and Business Ethics Additional duties as delegated by the Project Director
What You Bring To The Team
P.Eng and 4-year technical or business administration degree or equivalent. Alternate degrees/certifications in combination with applicable experience will be considered Minimum 10 years project management experience, 3 years in EPC/nuclear environment Applied knowledge of nuclear project work, financial operations, project controls methods/standards, estimating and employee relations Vertical feed water heater replacement and specialty welding experience Excellent analytical and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills Excellent computer skills (MS suite)
