Quality Assurance Analyst Salary: $77,211 - $88,793.

Position: Permanent program evaluator (civil service title) in the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS).

ACS protects and promotes the safety and well‑being of children and families through child welfare, juvenile justice services, foster care, and community supports.

Responsibilities

Conduct ongoing reviews and analyses of randomly selected child care eligibility case records to assess appropriateness of eligibility determinations and completeness of case files.

Identify trends in findings.

Make recommendations and inform ongoing quality improvement and related professional development efforts.

Implement special projects as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, economics, finance, accounting, business, personnel or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, statistics, labor relations, psychology, sociology, nursing, counseling, child welfare, political science, urban studies, education or a closely related field, and two years satisfactory full‑time professional experience performing quantitative/qualitative statistical analysis in the evaluation of social service programs and/or operations, or utilizing statistical analysis in social service program‑level planning. At least one year of this experience must have been in a supervisory, administrative, managerial or consultative capacity.

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in one of the fields listed above and three years of the full‑time satisfactory professional experience described above, including at least one year of experience in a supervisory, administrative, managerial or consultative capacity.

Preferred Skills

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Ability to work with and navigate multiple database systems.

Data entry skills, and proficiency working with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Knowledge of child care or benefits eligibility is a plus.
