Job description: Office Manager – Behavioral Health Floor Operations (Contract / Temp-to-Perm)

Position Summary We are seeking a self-starter Office Manager to oversee day-to-day floor operations in a behavioral health clinic serving children with diverse needs. This role ensures therapists and mentors deliver high-quality care and clients receive the tools needed for successful therapy outcomes. This position focuses on compliance, quality assurance, client retention, growth and community engagement.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Oversight

Manage daily clinic flow and scheduling.

Ensure therapists and mentors adhere to treatment models and protocols.

Maintain a calm, professional environment for staff and clients.

Compliance & Risk Management

Monitor adherence to HIPAA and state regulations.

Prepare for audits and maintain compliance documentation.

Quality Assurance

Track clinical outcomes, client satisfaction, and retention.

Support accreditation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Community Engagement & Marketing

Coordinate outreach programs and partnerships.

Assist with reputation management and client engagement activities.

Staff Support

Provide leadership and guidance to therapists and mentors.

Foster a positive, professional environment for staff and clients.

Qualifications Required: Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience managing operations in behavioral health, mental health, or preschool environment serving children with diverse needs.

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Knowledge of compliance standards and quality assurance practices.

Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to work independently without daily supervision.

Ability to train & implement strategies (including play therapy) that improve client satisfaction and retention.

Employment Type Contract / Temp-to-Perm: Initial contract with potential for permanent placement based on performance.
