What You'll Do
Help develop, implement, and oversee quality systems to ensure products and services meet customer, industry, and regulatory standards
Help Manage and mentor quality personnel
Help Establish and maintain quality control procedures
Oversee and conduct inspections and audits
Analyze quality performance data
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with senior management to shape policies and strategic goals that promote a culture of safety, continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction
What You'll Need
Essential soft skills including strong analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and communication abilities
Ability to read drawings/prints (understand layouts & dimensioning)
Good Organizational and Leadership skills
Computer proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, etc
Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance, including managing quality projects and implementing quality systems
Previous experience in a Manufacturing Environment, preferably metal fabrication
Knowledge in threads, thread inspections, etc.
Knowledge in metal fabrication (Material Test Reports, Material Certifications, etc.)
Knowledge in welding, welding procedures and processes, inspection, etc. (AWS)
Previous experience with ERP software: SAP S/4HANA, Epicor, Oracle NetSuite, etc.
Previous experience with SalesForce
Your Education
A bachelor's degree in a relatable field (e.g., engineering, business, quality management) -OR-5+ years' experience in a leading role related to quality assurance, process improvement, and knowledge of a quality management system like ISO 9001, AISC, etc.
