Region Contract Manager - USBL - US Sysco – Jackson, MS

Job Summary This position is responsible for promoting the company’s products and services and building relationships with new and existing LCC accounts. The focus is to serve as a concept sales lead or “Lead House” for complex concepts spanning multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead sales planning and execution for LCC-Lead House accounts in the designated territory, driving profitable volume growth.

Manage transition of customers from Business Development to Regional Contract Sales and Customer Experience teams.

Accountable for P&L management, strategic initiatives, and cross‑functional alignment.

Achieve Sales, Gross Profit, and Delivered‑Margin financial goals for the customer group.

Develop medium to long‑term sales plans and strategies to grow and diversify relationships.

Coordinate across regions to drive opportunities and ensure sales solutions meet customer needs.

Lead cross‑functional alignment, customer wiring and top‑to‑top meetings with C‑suite executives.

Manage contracts, terms, and conditions including MDA, amendments, extensions, renewals, letters of intent, and limited‑time offers.

Leverage Sysco’s CRM tool for sales planning, opportunity tracking, task management, and daily customer engagement.

Support face‑to‑face and remote sales to new and existing customers.

Create sales bids, proposals, presentations, and conduct product demonstrations.

Education Required High School diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or Culinary Arts

Experience Required +7 years of Sysco experience or equivalent in contract sales growth management, managing a portfolio of businesses and people.

Technical Skills and Abilities

Influence local contract sales teams across regions to grow revenue and improve profitability.

Strong financial acumen for planning and executing business plans.

Consultative selling, networking, and negotiation skills.

Operational acumen to manage sophisticated customers.

Interpersonal skills to work with and influence stakeholders.

Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost, and expense ratios.

Strong communication skills for internal and external teams.

Excellent organizational and project management skills, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Proficiency with proprietary CRM tools for planning and forecasting sales growth.

Analytical problem‑solving skills and data insight derivation.

Embraces change and champions corporate initiatives.
