Position Description

The Digital Ad Operations Supervisor will coordinate the trafficking, internal communication and reporting around owned and operated (O&O) digital advertising placements across various platforms for The Post and Courier and EPPNG properties as well as programmatic and extended products for King & Columbus. This position will traffic/place digital ads on postandcourier.com through Google Ad Manager (GAM), e-newsletters, custom email marketing, contesting platforms, branded content and more. As part of the King & Columbus agency staff, this position will also fulfill, monitor, optimize and report on client campaigns fulfilling through programmatic platforms and other extended tactics. This position will provide accurate and timely campaign fulfillment and communicate updates on campaigns regularly to internal stakeholders to share with clients. The Digital Ad Operations Supervisor will produce reporting on these digital advertising campaigns and will troubleshoot digital ad system issues as needed. Responsibilities

Execute digital ad trafficking across multiple platforms including postandcourier.com, e-newsletters, email marketing, branded content, and contesting platforms for display and video ads

Manage campaign setup, monitoring, and optimization using Google Ad Manager (GAM) and other ad serving platforms

Build, fulfill, monitor, and continually optimize programmatic and extended digital marketing campaigns for agency clients.

Process digital ad insertion orders, facilitate campaign communication, and generate reports using the company’s order management system

Monitor and report campaign performance metrics, pacing, and placement issues to internal stakeholders in a timely manner

Ensure all digital ad creative (static, animated, and video) meets platform-specific technical specifications through collaboration with graphic designers

Communicate with outsourced graphic design partner AffinityX as needed to ensure ad creatives are proofed by established deadlines, and that urgent creative requests are prioritized.

Produce comprehensive campaign reports, providing data-driven insights to measure and improve campaign success

Manage digital voting ballots for EPPNG readers choice contests, including building out ballot, moderating nominations and votes, placing ad units on ballot, developing enhanced listings, and more.

Implement client-focused campaign management strategies to enhance satisfaction, retention, and renewal rates

Provide technical expertise on various digital advertising platforms used for owned and operated advertising

Conduct digital advertising inventory forecasting and reporting to support sales and planning efforts

Contribute to the improvement of workflows and processes, identifying optimization opportunities for campaign performance and operational efficiency

Resolve campaign fulfillment issues and ad server discrepancies through collaboration with ad operations teams and developers

Support the digital agency campaign fulfillment team by managing programmatic, targeted email, and paid social ad campaigns as need

Requirements, Minimum Education Level, and Experience

BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, business or a similar field strongly preferred

Minimum of three years of experience in digital ad operations, digital marketing, or a similar role

Experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM) or other similar ad serving platforms

Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Constant Contact)

Proficiency in using project management and analytics tools

Candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills

Regularly required to sit for long periods of time; close eye work on computer screen; required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend and stoop; light to moderate lifting up to 30 lbs. per safety policy.
