As the Installation Project Manager (Installation Coordinator), you will plan, coordinate, and lead the installation of site works for hydro‑electric power projects, collaborating with other Installation Coordinators, Site Managers, Supervisors, and the project management team. The scope of a hydro‑electric power project includes all aspects of turbine and generator installation.
Responsibilities
Remote supervision and strategic coordination of all site installation activities related to the system (Turbine, Generator, BOP, EPS)
Oversight of safe and cost‑effective execution of installation works, ensuring alignment with the project schedule and specifications
Representing and safeguarding the interests of ANDRITZ at the site level through remote leadership
Ensuring installation works comply with contract specifications, drawings, and documentation via off‑site coordination
Supporting hands‑on site installation indirectly through guidance and coordination with the Site Manager and installation team
Verifying that site personnel are suitably qualified and aligned with ANDRITZ standards and best practices
Facilitating active cooperation across internal and external system interfaces, including coordination between site activities and broader project stakeholders
Strategically optimizing site manning and cost control through remote planning and coordination
Conducting risk assessments and ensuring safety measures are implemented in line with the health, safety, and environmental plan
Monitoring progress and processes remotely, ensuring adherence to detailed site schedules and project specifications
Overseeing inspections, measurements, and documentation workflows from a strategic level
Managing timely reporting and resolution of site non‑conformities, technical issues, and potential claims through coordination with site leadership
Coordinating receipt, inspection, storage, and maintenance of goods in collaboration with the Site Manager
Ensuring internal reporting of safety‑critical incidents and near misses is completed and escalated appropriately
Reviewing and consolidating daily logs and contributing to weekly/monthly installation activity reports
Planning and ensuring timely provision of manpower, tools, equipment, and devices for each installation phase
Overseeing compilation of actual drawings and installation documentation from a remote coordination standpoint
Ensuring proper, safe, and professional component handling through strategic oversight
Coordinating preparation and handover of spare parts, project tools, and devices in collaboration with the Site Manager
Organizing on‑site training of client personnel as specified, in coordination with site staff
Facilitating cooperation between site personnel including Installation Supervisors and Commissioning Coordinators/Engineers
Providing input for final as‑built drawings and ensuring documentation completeness

5+ years of proven experience in a foreman, site supervisor and/or manager role related to Hydroelectric Turbines, Generators, Balance of Plant and/or Electrical Power Systems.
Experience working on large, complex construction projects.
Knowledge of OSHA standards.
Knowledge of applicable ISO Standards.
Familiarity with applicable US Standards.
Able to read engineering drawings and procedures.
Ability to read and understand contract requirements.
Ability to identify non‑conformances and organize the work.
Use of LMS, QCS and other Site related Software.
Authority to stop work on site due to health and safety issues or quality concerns.
Ability to travel up to ~30%.
