Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee all aspects of parts procurement, inventory control, and vendor coordination within a busy collision repair facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production flow, reducing cycle time, and ensuring accurate, cost-effective parts sourcing. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of collision repair parts, including OEM, aftermarket, and recycled options, and works effectively with estimators, technicians, and management to keep repairs moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of parts ordering, receiving, returns, and inventory control
Source OEM, aftermarket, recycled, and reconditioned parts as appropriate
Communicate with vendors, dealerships, and suppliers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery
Verify parts accuracy upon delivery and ensure proper fitment and quality
Track and resolve backorders, shortages, and incorrect or damaged parts
Coordinate closely with estimators and production staff to support repair timelines
Maintain accurate parts documentation within shop management systems
Process parts returns and credits in a timely manner
Monitor parts costs and support overall cost control efforts
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts department
Support insurance compliance requirements related to parts usage and documentation
Qualifications
2+ years of experience as a Parts Manager or Parts Coordinator in a collision repair environment preferred
Strong knowledge of OEM, aftermarket, and recycled collision parts
Experience with estimating and shop management systems such as CCC, Mitchell, or Audatex
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong communication skills with both internal teams and external vendors
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
High attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Skills
Experience working in DRP environments
Familiarity with insurance guidelines and parts compliance
Background in high-volume collision repair operations
Compensation & Benefits
$60,000–$80,000 base salary , depending on experience
