About the role As a Senior Project Manager - Advanced Fuel Operations you will be responsible for all project management processes on low or medium complexity projects. Requires leading small teams ( You will report to the Senior Manager - Advanced Fuel Projects. This is a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
Project planning: Complete all aspects of planning process including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.
Project building: Based on project plan, follow department protocols for acquiring team members to complete the work. Manage all aspects of project including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners. Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to departments following an integrated change management process. Coordinate project communications ensuring team, customer, and all partners are kept informed of status. Maintain project databases and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project correspondence and documentation between project team members.
Project closing: Close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools. Perform final project quality assessment and report out. Identify opportunities for improvement, lessons, and risk avoidance for future work.
Develop relationships with team, customer, suppliers, Westinghouse in-country representation (for international projects), and other team members to bring project to successful completion.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, construction, manufacturing or business.
4 years project management experience or 2 years project management experience and 2 years experience in technical role in nuclear or construction industry.
4+ years of experience as project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear or construction.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $85,200 to $106,500 per year.
