Manager, Data Quality and Process (Software Delivery) Ford Motor Company is seeking a Manager, Data Quality and Process (Software Delivery) to lead the Quality Analytics team within Industrial System Analytics (ISA) of the Global Data Insights & Analytics (GDIA) organization.

Responsibilities

Lead a cross‑functional team of data scientists, software engineers, and data engineers to build, grow, and maintain the Quality Analytics suite of products and services.

Lead and facilitate strategic conversations and prioritization within the team, and with senior leaders of each domain.

Manage financials—monthly forecasts and headcount across investments and operations.

Share best practices, identify synergies & risks, eliminate duplication, and foster team collaboration across domains.

Champion technology, software craftsmanship, DevOps, and Agile practices to enable professionalism and a culture of excellence.

Support strategic reviews with GDIA senior leaders, governance reviews with business partners, and internal product reviews.

Develop the PDO and technical skills of your teams with a focus on continuous improvement.

Champion talent acquisition, engagement, and retention; promote an engaged, diverse, and inclusive global team.

Continue to grow leadership capability within GDIA.

Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or Engineering.

6+ years of experience building and managing high‑performing teams.

Experience in the automotive industry or a complex manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data‑analytics services.

Certifications in Quality Management (Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ) or Data Management (CDMP) – optional.

Other Information This position is a leadership level 5, hybrid (onsite four days per week) for candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location or remote for non‑local candidates.
