We are seeking a hands‑on, Receiving Supervisor for our new 500,000‑sq‑ft distribution center in Savannah, GA—the largest among our facilities nationwide. The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all inbound operations within the distribution center, ensuring accurate receiving, efficient unloading, proper documentation, and smooth flow of inventory into the facility. This role ensures safety, accuracy, and speed while leading a team of receiving associates and collaborating with internal departments. Position Type
Full‑time, Exempt Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily receiving operations, including scheduling inbound shipments, unloading trucks, and verifying product against documentation. Ensure accurate counting, labeling, and system entry of all inbound inventory. Lead, train, and develop Receiving associates, ensuring workflow coverage and productivity. Maintain high inventory accuracy and ensure all discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly. Collaborate with Inventory Control, Quality, and Warehouse Operations to ensure proper product flow. Monitor staffing, workload, and equipment needs to support inbound volume. Enforce receiving procedures and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Ensure dock organization, cleanliness, and adherence to OSHA safety standards. Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments. Prepare daily receiving reports and performance metrics. Knowledge & Experience
Strong safety mindset with proven experience enforcing safety protocols in receiving or warehouse operations. Tier One WMS experience required; Blue Yonder experience is a plus. Experience in automated, fast‑paced facilities running multiple shifts. Supervisory experience leading warehouses or receiving teams. Experience working with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment. Experience partnering with inventory and quality departments. Work Environment
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Physical requirements may include standing for long periods, walking, bending, pushing, reaching, and lifting to 50 lbs. Exposure to material handling equipment and high‑traffic operational areas.
