Position & Office Overview As a Facilities Associate I, you are a natural leader with a strong work ethic. Although you do not have much past experience in facilities consulting, you are able to quickly learn the ropes. You may, however, have experience in pre-construction surveys, photographing sites, and generating reports - which is what drew you to this field. You have great communication skills and are easily able to interact with your team and clients. Responsibilities ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a Due Diligence Associate I to join our Florida Facilities team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you'll work on projects involving Properly Condition Assessments (PCAs), Pre and Post-Construction Surveys, and Accessibility Assessments. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients.

Conducting testing and consulting services for the built environment, including Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), Pre and Post-Construction Surveys, and Accessibility Assessments, among other facilities-related services

Documenting target properties and manage photo archives

Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation

Performing field and laboratory testing

Assisting with preparation of reports, proposals, and projects

Assisting with projects as needed

Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects

Scheduling and oversight of facilities technicians

Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE

Qualifications

B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, Construction or related degree preferred

0-2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience required

In lieu of education, 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required
